And on Monday, Peter Stefanovic proved he knows a thing or two about how to keep pests out of the home.
The 39-year-old journalist shared a hack on Instagram that detailed his sure-fire method of catching fruit flies around the kitchen.

In the post, Peter is seen holding up a glass jar covered with cling film that has trapped some of the household critters.
'I get an inordinate amount of satisfaction catching fruit flies,' Peter wrote across the video.
He then shared the ingredients for the trap he used to catch the flies.
It included apple cider vinegar, a dash of detergent and Glad wrap with small holes punctured at the top.
His happy homemaker post comes after he penned a heartfelt tribute to wife Sylvia on her 35th birthday last month.

'His proud parents couldn't be happier. His big brother is learning to be gentle. Big love all around.

Peter also shared the news on his social media, writing: 'The newest littlest member of our squad of four, led by my hero - @sylviajeffreys.'
The couple began dating in 2013 after meeting at Nine and were engaged in 2016 while on holiday in France.
They tied the knot at the Ooralba Estate in Kangaroo Valley on April 1, 2017.

Last year, Sylvia and Peter welcomed their first son, Oscar Hamilton, who turned one year old in February.
Just eight months later, the TV presenter revealed that she was pregnant with her second child, a son.
Sylvia conceived her first son, Oscar, via IVF, but said her second pregnancy was 'spontaneous'.
